Will I be advised about my application? |
Your application will be assessed by the selection panel who'll decide whether you have provided the necessary information, and that you meet all the essential criteria. If your application is not considered competitive, we'll write to you and advise you as soon as possible after the closing date. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by phone to arrange an interview. If you have any special requirements to enable you to attend the interview (e.g. building access, communication assistance) please let us know when you are contacted, so that arrangements may be made. |
What will happen at the interview? |
At the interview you will be asked questions relating to the selection criteria, the functions of the position and your skills, knowledge and experience. You'll also be given an opportunity to ask questions about the position or add any further information. Testing may also be carried out after the interview process. |
Do I have to provide referees? |
To assist with your application, you should provide the names and telephone numbers of two people who may be contacted about your application. It is advisable to include previous work supervisors or colleagues as both referees, as the referees will be asked to provide information on your past employment and work performance, relevant to the selection criteria for the position. All information is confidential to the people involved in the assessment of your application. |
What happens if I am successful? |
Applicants who are successful in obtaining a position with South West Credit will be advised by phone. A start date will be agreed upon and some paperwork will need to be completed prior to commencing employment. South West Credit will provide appropriate on the job training suitable to the position. |
