PayID simple as
Pay ID is an easy way to make sending and receiving payments simpler. It allow's you to link your account number to your email address, mobile phone number or ABN (for businesses). Once set up, it means you can provide your PayID (mobile number or email address) to organisations your wish to receive payments from - you will no longer have to remember your BSB & account number. PayID types that are offered by South West Credit include mobile phone number, email address, ABN (for businesses) and Organisation ID (for businesses). NB: Payments to BSB & Account Numbers will still exist, they will not replace regular transfers or BPAY. |
How does PayID work? |
The first step is to create your PayID.
You can create your PayID with South West Credit via our Internet Banking, Banking App, or by simply calling into our branch. You will need access to your mobile phone or email account to verify the PayID while it is being created. And if you need to pay someone else, simply ask them for their PayID. |
Fewer mistakes |
When you enter a PayID, the name of the person who owns that PayID will be automatically shown. All you have to do is simply confirm it’s the right person as part of authorising the transaction. Once approved, your bank will securely communicate with theirs, sending the money into their account. And as part of an Osko payment, the money will be transferred and ready to use, usually within a minute. |
